The history of the TAMELLINI family, based on recent studies, has Cimbre origins. The Cimbri were Celtic / Germanic tribes of northern Europe who, from the end of the 2nd century BC, descended to the Venetian pre-Alps. Concentrating mainly in Lessinia, they settled permanently.
An in-depth research on our ancestors has allowed us to go back to 1584; the oldest document to date is a death certificate of one of our ancestors who bears this date and testifies that here, in this court, the TAMELLINI already resided, also giving the name to the place itself.
This research has also materialized with the publication of some books that remain as evidence of our great heritage of history and culture.
